The National Infertility Association announces a 2012 educational partnership with A Family of My Own (AFOMO)

Preya Shivdat and Elizabeth Carellas created ‘A Family of My Own’ (AFOMO), an organization presenting family building conferences, bringing family building experts together with those struggling to become parents. AFOMO was established with a mission to touch lives by giving singles and couples the most current information they need to change their lives and become parents.
A Family of my own Fertility
The cornerstone of this educational partnership will be a series of conferences entitled “A Family of My Own Fertility & Adoption Conference to benefit RESOLVE: The National Infertility Association.” Throughout the U.S. in 2012, educational events will deliver the latest information and family building options to help guide couples on their journey through infertility, (and hopefully becoming a Mom, at Last!).

Each conference will include educational seminars and exhibitors with a wide range of valuable resources.

Conferences scheduled for 2012 include:

 Rye Brook, NY: April 21, 2012
 McLean, VA: May 12, 2012
 Glenview, IL: September 29, 2012
 Houston, TX: November 2012

“This partnership is another clear example of our commitment to those struggling with infertility by combining
education and advocacy in a setting that will continue to empower those on their family building journey,”
commented Preya Shivdat, Director of A Family of My Own Fertility & Adoption Conference.

About RESOLVE: The National Infertility Association:

Established in 1974, RESOLVE: The National Infertility Association is a non-profit organization with the only established, nationwide network mandated to promote reproductive health and to ensure equal access to all family building options for men and
women experiencing infertility or other reproductive disorders. One in eight U.S. couples of childbearing age is diagnosed with infertility.

RESOLVE addresses this public health issue by providing community to these women and men, connecting them with others who can help, empowering them to find resolution and giving voice to their demands for access to all family building options. For more information, visithttp://www.RESOLVE.org.
